Terms of Service
Acceptance
By installing the Voqua extension or using any part of the voqua.app web app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Voqua. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Tech & Sols ("we", "us", "Voqua").
Service description
Voqua helps you communicate across languages. It provides: inline translation of WhatsApp Web messages and voice notes; AI reply suggestions; translated voice replies, optionally in your own cloned voice; and live translated audio/video calls with real-time captions, saved transcripts, and AI-generated summaries and follow-up drafts. Translation quality is provided on a best-effort basis (see section 10).
Accounts
Some features (voice cloning, calls, saved history) require an account, created via email or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Voqua.
Free tier
Free accounts are subject to daily limits (currently 30 translations, 5 voice-note transcriptions, 3 trial voice replies, and 15 trial call minutes per day). These limits may change with reasonable notice. Free access may be withdrawn for accounts that abuse the service.
Paid subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (Pro, Voice, Power) are billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles sales tax, VAT, and GST on our behalf.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can change your plan or cancel anytime from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal ("Manage subscription"). Plan changes are prorated on a single subscription — you are not billed twice.
- The Power plan includes an allowance of translated-call minutes (currently 240 per month). When the allowance is used up, new calls are paused until the next monthly reset; calls already in progress are not interrupted.
- On cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to Free.
Refund policy
Subscription payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. Because you can cancel anytime and keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, cancelling simply stops your next charge. If you were charged in error, email haroonbutt2002@gmail.com within 14 days and we'll look into it. Where local consumer-protection law (for example the EU/UK cooling-off period for digital purchases) grants a statutory refund right, that right still applies and is administered by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record.
Voice cloning
If you enable your cloned voice, you confirm that the voice you record is your own and that you have the right to use it. You grant us and our voice provider (ElevenLabs) permission to process your sample solely to create and use your voice within Voqua. You must not use voice cloning to impersonate any other person or to deceive. You can delete your cloned voice at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse this feature.
Calls and transcripts
Translated calls are transcribed and translated in real time; a text transcript is saved to the host's account. Guests are shown a notice before joining that the call is translated and a transcript is saved for the host. You are responsible for ensuring your use of translated calls complies with any recording, notification, or consent laws that apply to you and the other participants. We store text transcripts, not raw audio.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Voqua for content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service.
- Clone or use a voice that is not your own, or impersonate others.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the extension, web app, or API.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Voqua or your subscription to others.
- Use automated scripts to exceed rate limits, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription validation.
No warranty on translation accuracy
AI translations, transcriptions, and summaries are approximations provided "as-is" with no warranty of accuracy. Do not rely on Voqua for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical communications. Always verify important information with a qualified human translator.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech & Sols shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Voqua, including losses arising from mistranslations or missed communications. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Intellectual property
Voqua, its logo, and associated branding are the property of Tech & Sols. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Voqua for personal or business purposes as described herein. Your content (messages, recordings, transcripts) remains yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify active subscribers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lahore, Pakistan, except where prohibited by law.
